Managed a team of designers and design managers with a focus on social consumer products. Design leadership for new products including Amazon Spark (a social shopping network for product discovery), Echo Look (ai fashion assistant, powered by Alexa, that provides wardrobe advice and feedback), and Associates/Influencers (Amazon’s Influencer program), and several “under the hood” products.

March 2014 – Dec 2015

Lead design for products involving community generated content on Amazon.com including Customer Reviews, Ask/Answers, Articles, and content publishing. Owned UX for launch new features including “How it Fits” (customer feedback on if clothing and shoes fit too small, too large, or just right), “Reasons to Buy” (quickly glance through product attributes and relevant customer quotes), and Images in Reviews (a picture says 1,000 words). Managed team of user experience designers and reported directly to VP of Amazon’s Engagement Design Group.
